What the record contains
Every signal TBWN publishes is logged and stays in the record, including losses and signals that never entered. Records are based on TBWN's own log and are not independently audited.
Outcome labels
- Entered signals: signals whose entry price was reached. Headline percentages use this number.
- Take-profit reached: the price reached TP1, TP2 or TP3.
- Managed close: the trade reached +30 pips (scalping) or +50 pips (intraday), the stop was moved, and it closed before its target. The record does not log a separate zero-pip break-even; every such trade is a managed close. These are reported separately and are not take-profits.
- Stop loss reached: the price reached the stop loss.
- Expired: the entry price was never reached. Expired signals count neither way.
The headline figure
"Did not reach the stop loss" is entered signals minus stop-loss outcomes, divided by entered signals. It is not a win rate: it includes break-even and managed closes, which are shown next to it so you can see the split.
Pips
- Total pips add the net result of every logged signal; expired signals add nothing.
- A managed close is credited with 80% of the maximum favourable movement recorded before closure, not zero. This is a recording method, not a take-profit or an ordinary break-even: a trader who closed at entry made close to zero on that trade. About half of the total pips come from these credits, so read the total with that in mind.
Costs and delays
Pips are gross: they are measured from the signal prices and do not deduct spread, commission, slippage or the delay before you place the order. Your own result depends on your broker and on when you enter, and is usually lower.
Corrections
If a signal is recorded wrongly, TBWN corrects it within 3 to 7 days of finding the error and marks the signal as corrected, so a changed result is never silent.
